Music has always been like breathing to me. It’s not really something I think about doing, it’s just always there. I grew up singing and playing alto saxophone, but it wasn’t until college that I was introduced to the instrument that changed my life. Because I was getting my teeth straightened with retainers my first year at Grand Canyon University (and yeah, this was in the early years of teeth straightening with retainers so they were huge and clunky and ridiculously large), I couldn’t sing and had to choose another ensemble since being in an ensemble was part of the requirements for my major. I perused the catalogue and my eyes landed on a word I’d never heard before. Handbells.

The moment I picked up a handbell, my musical universe exploded. Not only because I’d found an instrument like no other but I ventured into something I’d never done before — writing and arranging music. Fast forward from those early days of discovery and now my husband and I have been writing, arranging, recording, and producing our own music for over a decade. It’s not exclusively handbells but I always work to find ways of including bells in much of what we do.

Below you’ll find links to some of our music. We would be honored if you’d take a listen!
